The majority of eBay sellers will quickly ship my items and do not just take my money, but there are always going be fraudsters on eBay who will just steal your money and then accuse you of not having paid for the item, even if you have proof that you paid for it. I was forced to reach out to eBay customer service
and my bank in order to get the money back.
