We often find out we’ve gone over budget after the POs are already sent. Is there any system that connects PO creation with real-time budget info? I’m tired of post-facto accounting surprises—it makes reporting nearly impossible.

It’s wild how something as basic as “how much do we have left to spend” becomes invisible in these processes. We tried to add a manual approval layer but it slowed everything down and didn’t really help with accuracy. We need something smarter.

Budget overruns used to catch us off guard too until I started researching more client-focused PO tools. I wasn’t looking for anything flashy, just something that connected the dots better. I landed on precoro and was impressed by how cleanly it linked purchase approvals with budget tracking. Now, every request shows how it impacts our department’s available spend before it gets approved, and finance has much fewer surprises to deal with.
