Hi everyone! Just wanted to share a few upgrades I recently made to my flat that made a huge difference in both lighting and energy efficiency—perfect for anyone thinking of doing the same with the climate friendly voucher.
I started by revamping my ceiling light design in the living and dining areas. I used to have a single central light that made the space feel flat. Now, with layered lighting that includes pendant lights and recessed fixtures, the whole area feels more dynamic and welcoming.
One of my favourite additions was installing ceiling spotlights. They’re ideal for highlighting feature walls, art pieces, or even creating focused zones in open-concept spaces. The directional light control really lets you customise the mood depending on the activity—reading, relaxing, or entertaining.
The best part? I was able to offset part of the cost using the climate friendly voucher, which encourages the switch to energy-efficient lighting and appliances. It’s a great way to upgrade without spending too much out of pocket.
Highly recommend looking into LED ceiling lights and spotlights if you’re planning a home refresh. Stylish, functional, and better for the planet!
