Is betting on sports really profitable?-Forum-Culture Informatique

I work with mostly men, and they all talk to each other about sports betting. All but one assured me that they were “on the plus side” and that they “wouldn’t do it if they were losing money”. I took the others at their word, but thought about it some more. There’s no way they all made money, after all, they’re random players, and as far as I know, they don’t have any algorithms or anything else to help them.
