FAB salary account experience with failed transactions and balance confusion-Forum-Culture Informatique

A few days after my salary was credited, I tried to make an online payment and it failed, but I still got a message showing the amount was deducted. It did not match what I was seeing in the app, so I had no clear idea of my actual balance at that point.

Since this forum is more tech focused, I am wondering if this is something related to how banking systems process transactions or just a common issue with FAB. It felt like the system was out of sync for a while.

For those who are using FAB for salary, is this something you have experienced as well or is it just occasional? Also when this kind of mismatch happens, how do you properly check your balance? Do you trust the app, use ATM, or contact support to confirm the correct amount?

Trying to understand if this is normal behavior or a sign I should consider switching banks.
