OfflineDryers seem to lose efficiency gradually enough that most people don’t notice the problem until drying times become noticeably longer or the appliance starts overheating. I realised something wasn’t right when the laundry area in our house began feeling unusually warm after every cycle, even with smaller loads. Instead of replacing parts immediately, I scheduled a professional dryer vent cleaning to see whether airflow was the real issue first. The amount of lint removed from inside the vent system was much more than I expected, especially in the sections hidden behind the wall connection. After everything was cleaned properly, the dryer started working faster again and the room no longer felt overheated after use. Energy usage also seemed lower afterward, and the appliance itself sounded like it was running with much less strain during longer cycles.
